The movie industry in the U.S. was worth $95.45 billion at the end of 2022. And it continued to grow even despite the COVID-19 pandemic. But how we look at the movie industry has changed in recent years. While many people thought that going to the movies was the name of the game, more and more people are turning to movie apps and subscription services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, and more. 41% of people included in a recent survey indicated that they rarely go to the movies anymore. We can presume this means that they’re consuming content in the comfort of their own homes instead. So what do you do if you signed up for a movie theater membership you no longer use? More specifically, how do you cancel your Regal Unlimited membership?

How Do I Cancel Regal Unlimited Membership?

Regal Unlimited offers a lucrative plan for die-hard movie enthusiasts. With movie tickets costing an average of $10.45 each, those who want to make their way to their local Regal theater multiple times monthly can save quite a bit. Going to just two movies per month can save money for those with even the lowest tier membership. Regal Club members also get rewards and discounts and invitations to exclusive screenings and special events. Specifically, members can enjoy the following benefits.

    • See any movie at any time at any Regal theater

    • 10% discount on foods and non-alcoholic beverages

    • Free large popcorn and soft drink on your birthday

    • Early access to new releases via Regal Unlimited Screenings

    • The ability to bring a friend to enjoy select showings with you

Specific plans are priced as follows:

    Subscription PlansNumber of TheatersMonthly Cost
    Regal Unlimited200+$18.99 per month$227.88 annually
Regal Unlimited Plus400+$21.99 per month$263.88 annually
Regal Unlimited All Access475+$23.99 per month$287.88 annually

If you do the math based on the average ticket cost, you can save $30 a month if you have the Regal Unlimited plan and go to two movies per month. Go to three movies per month, and you can save almost $150. But if you don’t get to the movies at least twice per month, you’re suddenly losing money instead of saving. For this reason, members often ask how to cancel their Regal Unlimited membership.

But there is good news, canceling your Regal Unlimited membership is easy if you know where to go.
